Abstract

The article informs readers about the interuniversity conference "Young Engineer" held at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The conference was attended by students, undergraduates, postgraduates, engineers from 12 universities and representatives of 8 industrial enterprises. The main thematic areas of the reports and current tasks for the future are presented.  The importance of the conference for the training of engineering personnel is shown.

Abstract

For a strain gauged force sensor installed in hoisting machines, the Monte Carlo method based on the results of finite element analysis is used to study the influence of manufacturing factors – strain gauge positioning errors – on the sensitivity of the sensor. The presented graphical material allows to assess the kind of the sensor’s output level dependence on the sensitive elements gluing accuracy.

Abstract

The article presents the results of the development of a robotic complex (RC) for loading and palletizing bags with bulk materials weighing up to 50 kilograms. The initial requirements for the RC, the rationale for the development, the rationale for the design solutions, the installation of the main equipment, the description of the RC, and also outlines the main provisions for maintenance and repairability are presented.

Abstract

A variant of the structural design of a two-level bridge crane scheme consisting of a support bridge and a cargo bridge with a cargo truck is proposed. A calculation scheme has been developed for determining the resistance to movement of a cargo bridge and a cargo truck caused by deformations of the load-bearing system of a two-level overhead crane. Constructive options for compensation of slope angles caused by deformations of the bearing system of a two-level overhead crane are considered, in particular, using a two-level end beam of a support bridge with elastic connections. The efficiency of using a two-level bridge crane scheme is shown.
