"Carnotization" of working cycles of heat engines

Abstract

The article presents the results of a theoretical analysis of the possibilities of approximation of real thermodynamic cycles to the reversible Carnot cycle. Typical examples are considered: regenerative cycle, Uvarov cycle and steam-gas cycle. The areas of application of "carnotization" of cycles are shown. The article is intended for teachers and students of technical universities.
