Статья информирует читателей о состоявшейся в Московском государственном техническом университете имени Н.Э. Баумана межвузовской конференции «Молодой инженер». В конференции приняли участие студенты, магистранты, аспиранты, инженеры из 12-ти университетов и представители 8-ми промышленных предприятий. Представлены основные тематические направления докладов и актуальные задачи на будущее.  Показана значимость конференции для подготовки инженерных кадров.

The article informs readers about the interuniversity conference "Young Engineer" held at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The conference was attended by students, undergraduates, postgraduates, engineers from 12 universities and representatives of 8 industrial enterprises. The main thematic areas of the reports and current tasks for the future are presented.  The importance of the conference for the training of engineering personnel is shown.
